After drawing a line/ray when I click the left mouse button, the line disappears.

This might be due to the color of the Line. Change it to another color. Refer to: Chart Drawing Tools: Drawing Tool Configuration But it would seem more likely that the problem would actually be that it would not appear while drawing it and when completing the drawing it would then appear, if it were a color problem. But not necessarily. If you still have difficulty try drawing the Line on a new chart. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thx for prompt response. You are very insightful. The issue is only with existing historical day charts. there is no issue with existing intraday charts. when I open a brand new historical day chart, there is no issue. there are a large number of complex existing historical charts, I can not just delete them and start over. If I duplicate an existing chart, the issue is also in the new duplicated chart. the issue did no t exist last week. It just started to happen today. Nothing had changed. Subsequent to the issue I have upgraded to the latest version but it does not fix the problem. I am at a loss, looking forward to your help |

Uncheck Chart >> Hide Chart Drawings for the chart. You have also hidden the menu on that chart, so not really certain how you can do that unless you attach it back to the main window.
