Hello Guys, I am using automatic trading with reversal strategy and i like to add stop loss about 20 point below / above my entry position at same time the signal is happening. How can i do that? I need to use bracket order function or just to add a formula in my spreadsheet. I would appreciate if someone could guide me how to do this. Thanks, A.L |

The easiest way to do this is to use the Attached Orders functionality. With 'Use Attached Orders' checked on the Trade Window, an entry signal on the spreadsheet will create an OCO bracket with the entry order. These will need to be set to Yes: 'Cancel All Working Order On Entries and Reversals' 'Support Reversals' 'Allow Opposite Entry With Opposing Position' And if you have any formulas in L3 or N3, this needs to be set to Yes: 'Cancel All Working Orders On Exit' |

Hello Tom, First I want to thank you for the help. I really appreciate it. I added the parameters but something is not working well when i checked with the back test. I attached below some screen shots of my "attach trade window" I think the problem is there. Please Advice, Thanks, L.A |

We recommend using Attached Orders and this is documented here assuming you are using the Spreadsheet Trading study: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php#UsingManualOrAttachedOrdersExits Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Using Attached Orders is simple. Even more simple than entering formulas. Here is the documentation for that: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_AttachedOrders.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Using Attached Orders is truly the easier way to do it. Just use the SimpleBracket configuration that comes with the Sierra install, and edit the stop offset to your preference and the target offset to way beyond where it could go. You'll find it using the dropdown arrow at the top of the Trade Window. If you find the Attached Orders too complicated, then using the spreadsheet will seem even more so. |

Also, the image you provided in post #3 showing the Attached Order configuration looks just fine. You are doing everything correctly.
