In Spreadsheet System for Trading, I'm trying to make my Buy and Sell Exit triggers be the Close of the current bar (open of next bar would be acceptable, but not preferred). That's it.

This is a frustrating one, because it is probably a simple solution. Thanks to anyone who can give me a hand on this!

Thanks for the replies. I may not have been clear. I want the exit trigger to be the close of the bar itself, no other condition is involved.

In a search, I found another user who was trying to accomplish the same thing suggest this:

Buy Exit =$J$5>0
Sell Exit =$J$5<0

I have not had success

I do have "Signal Only on Bar Close" set to Yes

Have you tried "Reset Condition On New Bar" to "Yes"?

Okay I finally got this. I really appreciate the help from you two. In case anyone needs this info later on, this is what I have.

Signal Only on Bar Close columns L, N-Z changed to YES
Reset Condition On New Bar to YES
The Buy and Sell Exit signal just need to be any TRUE statement, such as =B3>0
