[Locked] - Sound Alerts All Repeat 3 times but set to 1

Ok I searched the board and didn't come up with anything concrete. I have multiple sound files attached to the Alerts under the General Settings/Alerts/General 3 tab. I have one copy of each .wav file in the SC Alert Sounds Folder and I have selected 1 Number of Times to Play This Alert for ALL the files attached to each Alert. When I use the Test Sound button in the window each sound file plays properly one time. When an alert activates from a chart when placing an order, or filling an order etc., the appropriate sound plays but it plays 3 times for every instance I've been able to create. I did change 1 of the files to play 3 times earlier before I tested this but not all of them. I then changed that file back to 1 in case it affected the entire setup but I still get 3 instances of each sound being played upon execution of that alert. I also tried enabling and disabling the "Wait for Prior Alert Sound to Finish...." check box in case. I also cleared the Alert Sound Que in General Settings. What am I missing? Thanks -- Scott |

Thank you for the link, I've gone over that information already but while reading over it again, I realized my problem was the way I place an order and my misconception that it would be treated as 1 order instance not 3 unique orders. Since I use bracket orders on 95% of my trades, SC plays the alert for EACH component of the order, in this case the trigger order and the target and stop bracket's. Since there are 3 parts to each of my orders, every time I enter or cancel the main order I get 3 sound alerts played. If I cancel just one side, only 1 alert plays as it should. Hi Xfanman1, so I got that issue too. Is there a way to stop alerting 3 times on a fill with bracket orders?

I have this issue too as I use bracket orders with multiple targets and it plays for each target. Is there anyway to specify that the sound only plays once for each bracket order placed, instead of repeating itself 6 times. This should be an option, as anyone who uses brackets would have this annoying issue. It gets even worse when cancelling a bracket order, you could hear it repeat double for each target and stop.

I believe this issue still exists. The sound file keeps playing over for each profit target in the bracket order. I believe you mentioned it was scheduled to be fixed earlier this year? |

What behavior is that? Start a new thread and be very precise as to the problem. There are different issues reported here. We are locking this thread. However be aware, that there are not going to be any further changes or development done in this area.
