I remember some time ago there was two separate connections possible for some services - one being data connection and the other being order routing. Would it be possible to get the data feed without the order routing through Sierra for CQG? I guess not - but still need to ask in case. Thanks |

So did you want to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data feed and also use CQG for order routing? This is supported. In the case of CQG, you could use their market data but not submit any orders through them. That would work as well. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I wasn't clear enough, idea was to run workstation for data and route orders from different device (as a comfort/practical thing ..) and not being charged double for exchanges, it might be possible if there are separate log-in for order server and for data stream...I'm not a computer geek, just thought would be nice. I remember few years ago was no problem to run broker software at the same time as SC was running. P.S. In case if I would want to use SC Data - would it be for all exchanges the same charge as of by CQG? Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-09-04 22:34:28

We recommend using the DTC Protocol server for this: Data and Trading Communications (DTC) Protocol Server P.S. In case if I would want to use SC Data - would it be for all exchanges the same charge as of by CQG? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
