Hi Based on my understanding... when i reverse session start end time... trading day/date calculation supposed to be date of session start time + 1. I want to export daily OHLC based on CME session timings... 18:00 ET (start) to 17:00 ET (End). I use Write Bar data to file study and everything works fine except this issue. Wednesday (08/24) session should start from Tuesday 8/23 18:00 ET to 8/24 17:00 ET But it is writing trading day /date as tuesday (8/23). I assume the Date column in write bar data to file study.. implies trading date.. not bar date. Please let me know how i can properly export trading day using writebardatatofile study. Thanks Kavi Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-08-23 18:49:00

I assume the Date column in write bar data to file study.. implies trading date.. not bar date. No, this is never the case. This would be terribly confusing. You need to work with the data as it currently is time stamped. There is no other way to do this.

Okay. I guess date/time field in the export bar data study is START date/time of the bar. Is there a way to export END date / time of the bar. When i export it only export bar start date+ bar start time, is there a way to export another date which is bar end date+ bar end time I try to extract daily bar OHLC data using full ETH session for Crude oil. ETH= start time 1800 ET prior day to 1700 ET of current day. |

Is there a way to export END date / time of the bar. No, this is not supported.
