Again with FXCM CFD Symbols with [M], but it connects this time

Hi,

Upon updating to 1599 release, I again have CFD symbols with [M]. I am able to connect, and i think trade ( at least it seems so ).

I already did an "Update from server" and "Full Reset" on the symbols definition, disconnected, connected and restarted SierraCharts also.

The only thing that might hint of whats happening is ( in example for NAS100 symbol ) :

HD Request # 5 | Re-requesting historical data for NAS100 to get the latest data since the download was started while not connected to primary service. | 2017-08-21 10:45:03

Is this a problem or does FXCM CFD Symbols will now always have an [M] ?

They should always have a [M]. If the Forex or CFD symbols do not, this is a problem.

They should always have a [M]. If the Forex or CFD symbols do not, this is a problem.

Completly puzzled here. They never had before, its the first time they do ! Did anything change in the FXCM connection ?

Also, in LMAX with Forex, they don't have an [M]. Its an FXCM thing only, right ?

Actually, thinking about this some more you are right.

With the way that those FXCM DTC services are implemented, there should not be a [M]. The way that those market data subscriptions are routed is not through one of the sub services.

What is Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service set to?

OK.... using it it does seem to be working properly.

I was just alarmed with the previous week problem I had, where I could not connect after [M] appearing. ( relevant ticked: Cannot connect to FXCM account and symbols now have a [M] in them )

BTW, confirm that it is working on release 1600 !

[M] no longer appears and feed is working.
