Hey Guys,

Quick question related to TPO Profile study. Im running a 30 min chart as well as a 30 min TPO chart. I am trying to get them to match up. I have a start time of 7:20 on each chart. If you look at the Picture attached you can see that my 30 min chart is on the 4 bar while my TPO chart is still on letter "C" or the 3rd letter.

Is there anything I need to do to make sure these are synced together so they match?

This relates to a recent change with the handling of an odd Start Time.

With the TPO Profile Chart and the TPO Value Area Lines studies, improvements have been made to handling of an odd session starting time which is not a multiple of 30 minutes or at 0:00, when using a TPO Letter/Block time period of 30 minutes.

There is now the ability to merge the odd sub period which arises from this with the next subperiod, or keep it as a separate subperiod. The study input with these studies that controls this is named Merge Odd SubPeriod with Next (Applies to 30 minute letter/block time period). For example, if the TPO Letter/Block time period is 30 minutes, and the chart Start Time is 8:20, and Merge Odd SubPeriod with Next is set to No, then there will be a single subperiod which goes from 8:20 to 8:29:59. The next subperiod will begin at 8:30.

So because of an odd Start Time is detected, you cannot get an exact match to the normal chart bars but close if you set Merge Odd SubPeriod with Next to No. We will see about having an option to have it work like previously.

Thank you. I did have the Merge Odd SubPeriod with Next set to Yes. My chart's start and end times are 7:20am to 12:50. If I use a countdown timer study I see the that times are 10 minutes off between the TPO 30min and a regular 30min candlestick chart. Im looking for it to go 7:20, 7:50, 8:20, 8:50... etc.

When the imput is set to No it is still off. Please see the attachment. You can see its off by looking at the Countdown timer. Also if you count the bars you will see that we should still be on letter "K" for the TPO. Not letter "L"

Are there any other settings I need to have set up?
