Hi, maybe this is something simple, but I'm a little confused. I noticed that the Global symbol settings for GBPNZD (British Pound/New Zealand Dollar) show the "Tick Size" = 0.0001 But, on screen, I see price fluctuations of the Bid and Ask at 0.00001 resolution. I recorded my screen to be certain and when I replay the video back I see a Bid price change from 0.78776 to 0.78775. For example. My live prices come from SCData. When I look on BarChart.com I see the same, 0.00001 resolution. I think this is where the SCData comes from. https://www.barchart.com/forex/quotes/%5EGBPNZD/overview Are the Global Symbol Settings correct? I assumed the tick size would correspond with the minimum price fluctuation I see on the Bid and Ask prices. |

A tick size of .00001 is too small and creates all kinds of performance problems with certain types of studies. It generally leads to huge problems for the user and support problems for us and a poor impression of Sierra Chart. You can do what you want on your side but the default will remain. If anything it should increase. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
