So im new to the software. I basically imported all symbols(Nasdaq,Nyse,Amex,Otcbb) in to assiociated watchlist. I have 2 questions that need to be answered for my success. 1. Do you guys have a simple alert formulas or database for scanning for spikers, gap ups, gapdowns. Asking these because its really difficult making my own. 2. I believe you guys have a way of scanning in market replay. I just want to be able to trade stocks like i have never seen them before but the problem is i don't know which one is good so it forces me to look at charts of previous gainers which is cheating.so what im asking is if you can personally help me set up a intraday replay scanner. The documents all help but for making your alert fourmalas and scanning ,it just doesn't click with me. |

1. No. You are best off writing your own formula so it does exactly what you require and that you understand it. 2. I believe you guys have a way of scanning in market replay. Not exactly. It is possible to replay multiple charts and each of those charts can have an Alert Condition Formula on the chart itself and also on studies. These formulas are continuously monitored. Or another thing you can do is load a specific date range into a chart, and then run a scan on that chart through multiple symbols. We can give you references to documentation but if you have more of a need, then that really is outside the scope of our support. We could refer you to a programmer who might be willing to help, but that would be an additional cost. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
