SC: Is there a way to set the color of the volume numbers that are displayed in each volume bar level to match the color of the dominant side. For example, if the volume for the CL contract at 50.00 reads 2300 x 2500, then the color of the text for the 2300 x 2500 volume at that price would be green. Or, vice versa, if the volume of the CL at 50.00 was 2700 x 2100, then the color of the text for the volume numbers would be red. These green and red colors could be set to whatever color the trader chose, I just used green and red in this example. That would allow the transparency to be even 100% and the trader could see that the level, in this case 50.00, is green for the dominant side just in a quick view. The main reason I ask, if when I set the VxP to be even 70% transparent, it makes the candles a little tougher for me to see. Another idea that might work is to be able to set the length of each bar so that each bar is really short. That way they would stay in proportion still but only take up a very small part of the far left of the chart. Here is picture of how my VxP looks with transparency set to 100%. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1501256641531.png As you can see I can't see at a glance what the dominant side of each volume x price is, but, I can see all the candles on the charts since the VxP is not obscuring the candles. Here is a picture of how my VxP looks with transparency set to 70%. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1501256871445.png Here I can see the dominant side but the candles are a little obscured even when the transparency is set to 70%. So, to sum up again what I am asking, is there a way to set the color for the VxP text at each level, ie 2300 x 2550 to green, or for 2550 x 2300 to red, and / or to set the transparency to NO and only have the VxP bars take up a small portion of the far left of the chart and not extend way out to the right and obscure more of the candles. The trader could even select how far to the right the VxP bar would extend. Obviously, these bars should all remain in proportion. I hope I have explained this request good enough. Sierra charts are the best, in my opinion. Thanks in advance. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-07-28 15:59:33
