Cloning ENTIRE instance / reference

1) I have the base SC instance, connected to Bitmex, with linked 4 charts, two un-docked, lots of new keyboard shortcuts. Each chart has various studies (indicators). Et cetera.

I want to clone the ENTIRE Base Instance (Bitmex) to a new Instance (AMP Futures/CQG). That means I want to bring over the 4 charts, (all chartbooks), all the studies, all the keyboard shortcuts, everything. Once in the new instance I will update the linked chart instrument from one to the new brokerage list. This way I have all the work I did setting up charts, etc, in the new instance.

If I make a change to how the Base instance works (chartbooks, links, studies, shortcuts), I want to move it easily to the other instances.

I'm coming from Ninjatrader and it is possible to have multiple trading accounts open with the same instance. In fact, I think that NT only allows one instance, but it is possible to have multiple accounts open with the same instance.

When an instrument is selected, it will use the first account (in the open list) that it is enabled for.

Likewise, there are templates that group studies (indicators) and so it is possible to set a chart with a predefined group of studies (templates), or easily change ALL the indicators / studies on a chart simply by loading another indicator template.

I really like SC and probably will continue with it as long as I'm trading, especially since NT does not access the cryptos, like Bitmex, and to my great disappointment, forced all new customers to their brokerage. Fortunately I am grandfathered so I can still work with CQG, AMP Futures, etc.

But, I have a HUGE amount of custom code on NT that I will have to slowly re-write to SC. And, I really appreciate that you are not tying your software to one brokerage.

So, thank you for your patience as I gear up with SC.

2) It would help me greatly in my learning process if you would provide a help system that is local on the PC. Ninja's local help is not nearly as deep as yours, neither their online help. It is adequate for basic reference. I don't know why they don't develop a reference system like yours....it requires they have a lot more tech support, it seems.

If you put your web help into one huge PDF (versioned of course) that would be a VERY helpful to me and others....I don't like having to navigate web pages for references, and it would then be vastly superior to NT help.

3) Today for a period the Bitmex / SC Bid/Ask was broken. Again..... I informed Bitmex. They need to fix this as it can cause SC to submit orders with big errors.

Thank you
