Can't reduce bar width

I select a bar chart (OHLC) but when I select Decrease Bar Width I can't get it to go thinner than a certain point. I know that I have been able to get it thinner in the past, but for some reason now it won't go thinner than a certain amount. Is there a setting preventing me from doing this?
