I just use the sierra exchange data feed to view charts. This works ok for eurex that ive used for a while. Is there a different process for cme?

Before you activated the CME Group exchanges that you did, there was a very clear prompt before you could proceed, that a futures trading account is required with a supported trading service.

i see so there is no other way to view cme data but to have a futures trading account?

There is but you do have to pay the higher priced fees.

If you decide on one or more of these fees, make sure you activate them in August in US Central time so you get the first full month free.
