Don't know if this is a bug; hasn't happened in a long time; but after a couple of hours of work creating formulas, I exported the .scss to .txt for further analysis and proofing. When I went back to my chart the formulas were gone and no studies were visable or existed in the chart I was working with. This a DTC 2nd instance also... unfortunately I didn't have auto save on the instance enabled.

We need some time to look this over. The original Spreadsheet should still be saved and can be reopened. After saving as a text file, the open Spreadsheet is referencing that text file.

In general what we think has happened, is that you did not save the original Spreadsheet containing the formulas, in the standard format. You then saved it as text file which then caused the Spreadsheet to be referencing the text file. Then a new Spreadsheet using the standard file format was created by the Spreadsheet Study, which was just empty because the original Spreadsheet was not saved. We have made a change in the next release which will avoid this kind of issue. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
