I'm using sierra chart data for analysis in separate software. I'd like to automate the process of exporting data from around 30 charts. Is this possible within Sierra charts, or a separate program. I generally import the data into excel for reformatting and then export it directly into a folder which the software uses. I'm looking at trying to automate this process more by not having to manually open each chart, exporting the data to file etc. Is there a way to do this?

We can only refer you to the Historical Daily and Intraday file formats here: Text/CSV Data Format Intraday Data File Format Although the charts will have to be opened in order for the data to be downloaded at first. You might want to use the scanning feature for this: Chart Menu: Scan Menu Commands (Chart >> Start Scan, Chart >> Stop Scan) With this information you will be able to do what you want. Exactly how to do this is not within the scope of our support. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
