Why are my contracts doubling when I hit the reverse button from the trade window? If I'm shorting 10 contracts and hit the reverse button, I want to long 10 contracts, not 20. What am i doing wrong that they are doubling on reversal?

How exactly are you coming to this conclusion? So you are saying you are getting a resulting position of 20? Enable the Order Confirmations: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Menu >> Order Confirmations (chart specific) The displayed quantity for the new order needs to be the Position Quantity, plus the current Order Quantity set on the Trade Window. So that quantity should be 20 and then should result in a new position of 10. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. So I'll short 10 contracts and hit the reverse button and be long 20 contracts. Didn't use to do that

What is the Order Quantity set to on the Trade Window? It should be set to 10. Refer to: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main >> Order Quantity (Quantity) And make sure you are using the correct Trade Window. They are specific to each individual chart: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Opening Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
