Do you have an idea why the price on the continuous chart is different than the other chart? Both are on CLV3. Price on 8/1 is different on each chart. (see attached)

Neither of these attachments are helpful.

We need images of the individual charts themselves following these instructions:

Please do not attach images in any other way.

The problem is you are not scrolled to the end of the chart in one of those charts. Refer to help topic 3.8 here:

CLV3 was not the active month on 8-1 so a continuous contract chart is showing CLU3 for that day..

Trade2day1,
I thought that may be the case. That said, this discrepancy messes up my charts because the continuous chart is different than the other charts. Idk what to do. What would you suggest? On 8/1 one chart has a high of 107.84 while the other shows a high of 108.78. I can't very well have that. In this case it throws off my technical. I'm stuck, and still don't know what to do. For me daytrading has been hard enough when my charts did show the same levels. Do you think I should ignore the continuous chart for now. Is that my best alternative?

Sierra Chart Engineering,
You usually have better info than that. Any one in the whole world knows how to scroll a window. Is that really your answer? Also, maybe you didn't look at the original post that clearly says, "Price on 8/1 is different on each chart."

yes, just ignore continuous contract on an intraday basis and focus on the front month

You would be surprised to find out, that we do get support requests relating to not being scrolled to the end of the chart.

We cannot always concentrate on detail with what users write and sometimes it is not always clear. We misunderstood that you were referring to a particular date. We thought you were referring to the last trade price.

It sounds as though you do not want to use a Continuous Futures Contract chart, so we recommend disabling that option.
