I opened Sierra at 20:02 EDT this evening. The charts are not updating properly. On my 1 minute ES chart.....the first bar that printed is the 20:07 bar and then there's a gap to 21:19. I've done the Delete and Download data.....closed the chart and the Infinity DOM and reopened them. Still not getting correct data. I cannot get the charts to fill in the historical data. I also spoke with Transact support. They said that Sierra is responsible for all historical data. What do I need to do to get the charts to update?

This problem is now resolved. Follow through the instructions here to download the missing data: Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Retrying the Download When There is Data in the Chart Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Did all that.............updated symbol settings. Still a gap in the data. I closed Sierra and the data connection. Re-connected to the data source.......re-opened Sierra. Historical data still did not back fill. The chart is exactly the same. On the 1 min ESM7 chart........the last bar on Friday is the 16:59 bar........the first bar for this evening is the 20:07 bar......then a 20:08 bar....then a data gap all the way to 21:19.

This makes no sense. The missing data has been restored on the server. You may not have followed the procedure properly. Just re-download all the data by going to the chart and selecting from the main menu Edit >> Delete All Data and Download. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I guess it's possible that I did something incorrectly but followed the instructions to the letter on the tech pages you sent and the chart did not refresh. Nonetheless.........the Delete All Data and Download command filled in the charts. That command is a "per chart" command .............correct? I had to go each 1 min chart and use the command to get them to fill in. ES, YM and NQ

That command is per symbol. It only needs to be done once per symbol.
