I keep getting notifications about CTS support. I use Interactive Brokers. Am I correct in assuming that IB customers can't use this option?

You can disregard that notice. It is just about a new low-cost connection model Sierra Chart has to CTS.

Interactive Brokers users cannot use CTS. You would have to be with a different broker supporting CTS.
