I am using spreadsheet for trading and have it set up so that if an alert fires then the account should go long 1 contract and if another alert fires then it goes short one contract. The alerts are clearly showing as fired since the bars are colored, the arrows denoting a trade are happening, but the position stays at 0 and no order is accounted for in the trade stats panel. Is this a known bug? I cannot continue to use sierra chart if I am getting unreliable backtesting data. The trades seem to fire at random. I use market orders for everything, trade at close of bar, yet have inconsistent backtests.

Refer to the information here about this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SpreadsheetSystemsAlertsAndAutomatedTrading.php#IgnoredSignals The back testing is 100 percent reliable. The problem has to do with ignored order signals which have very specific reasons why they occur. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
