2 questions: 1) can we plot an option in a chart? 2) I added a second log in, should I be able to get intraday and historical data? Right now when I open a new chart, I seem to only get an intraday chart as it builds? Cant get data on the chart going back? Thanks Tom |

1. We see you are using TD Ameritrade. You can try. The stock-option format is explained here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/AmeriTrade.php#SetupInstructions 2. You will definitely get historical data. If there is any missing data, then follow through the instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/HistoricalIntradayData.html#RetryDownloadDataInChart Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. In our experience, this is what happens. It is not something we can help with. The data comes from TD Ameritrade. You really need to use Interactive Brokers for options data.

The Interactive Brokers option symbol format can be found here: Interactive Brokers Symbols: Options Format We recommend using format 1.
