We backed up the data, after deleting the scid files, to a thumbdrive and installed on another computer with sierra and I still get my old charts. Whats the correct way to backup so I can take my workspace from one computer to another? Since I am an infinity customer do I have to pay for sierra charts support? Thank You for your support! If you are using Sierra Chart provided by TransAct/Infinity, you must install the Transact software on the system where you will be using Sierra Chart. That software will install Sierra Chart. You must go through this procedure. After that you need to follow through the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails15.html#UpdatingExistingInstallationWithFilesSettingsFromAnotherInstallation An easier way is to use a direct account: Direct Sierra Chart Account Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
