Hi, I am wondering if I can save all windows so that I can move them around within a session and then click a button and they all return to the original positions I had them in at the start? So, for instance, I open a saved chartbook, then I move the windows around, then later in the session I click a button and all the windows return to their original positions from the start of the session? Thanks. |

The only way to do this is after saving the Chartbook, you need to later close the Chartbook and reopen the Chartbook. So you are saying that when I want to get back to the original state the window layout was in when I first opened it I should close the chartbook without saving and reopen it?

Okay, but that won't work if I have saved the layout at any time since it was opened, correct?

Trader1, I have run into the same situation, and this is my solution. I use "SAVE AS" rather than "SAVE" and just make a different version of the workbook after moving the windows around. For example, open Workbook called "My ES Charts", move the windows around and then SAVE AS "My ES Charts - v2". Then you can easily have access to both the new and old format. Hope this helps. |
