There may be either a minor error in the input name "Graph Only Quantities Greater Or Equal To", or in the code as I can only get this filter if the quantity is greater than my specified input value.

The Input does work as expected. You need to describe in detail, what you are thinking it is supposed to do clearly for us. Clearly you must have a misunderstanding. If I enter in a value of 10, I would expect to only show quantities of 10 or higher (greater or equal to), instead, in this example, it only shows values of 11 or higher.

https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/MarketDepthHistoricalGraph.php#StudyInputs From your own documentation page: "Only market depth quantities at a particular price level and at a particular chart bar that are greater than or equal to this value will be displayed on the graph." This is exactly what I understood the input to mean, there is no misunderstanding on my part. My previous screenshots verify that SC is applying greater than only, and not equal to. |

When I took those screenshots yesterday it was in the slower pre-market so there was plenty of time to take change settings take screenshots without the book changing. As I watch this again now in the pre-market, sometimes I am seeing it print >= but it is delayed by a second or more. Sometimes I am not seeing it apply the equal to criteria at all. There is something else going on here.

There is absolutely no problem with that study Input There could not be. We checked it again and it does work properly. The only way you can see that Input is working properly is to set the Show Quantity Numbers Input to Yes. We do not understand what you are trying to explain. There must be some misunderstanding. While looking into this, one thing that we improved upon, is that the current market depth quantities that are displayed by the Market Depth Historical Graph study will always be in sync with the latest values, during the formation of fixed time bars. It is hard to do with variable time length bars though or when a bar finishes and before the bar starts. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. OK, next time I try to screencap the problem I'll turn on that show quantity numbers setting you mention. My two screenshots should show what I am seeing though. It is clearly shown that the book quantity highlighted with the arrow remains the same, yet I can only get it to graph with this indicator once I set it to a number lower than the book quantity. Is that not clearly explaining why I brought this up? I have this chart set to update every 100ms. The DOM values in the chart update much more frequently now. This is a 1 tick chart. You lead onto another topic, and that is how frequent this indicator updates. Based on your documentation on chart update interval it says: The Chart Update Interval sets how often the chart graphics are updated and studies are calculated when connected to the Data/Trade server.
So I had thought that this should be updating based on the DOM data every 100ms, would that be right? |

Just saw this happening in a market replay so I stopped the replay, enabled show quantity numbers. Attached screenshot. These quantities in the book were unchanged for several seconds before the settings were enabled and the screenshot taken.
