I have 2 studies that are effectively working the same but I'm getting different results. If you need more details I'll provide them but for now I'll keep it simple. For both I have 'evaluate on bar close' unchecked. On the first one the alert graphic will display and disappear as the condition is met or not met as the bar develops. Once the bar closes, if the condition is not met then it will disappear and if it's met it will stay. This is ideal. The graphic I use for this one is point on high or point on low. On the second one that I have it will show the graphic as the bar develops but once it displays it will not go away. Not when the condition isn't met as the bar develops, nor if it's not met when it closes. I use a plus sign for this one. I know I can check 'evaluate on bar close' but I want it to work as the bar develops. It works for the first one so I want it to work for the second one. The settings appear to be the same so I don't understand why it's behaving this way. Can you help please? |

There is no way to latch an alert intrabar, so what is causing it to go TRUE must not be changing intrabar. If this is not the case, then something else is at play, and more info would be needed to discern what is happening. |
