Hi, Is there a way to get intraday data going back to say 2008 or 2007. I can load a historical chart, but I'm looking for 120 minute or 240 minute charts from 2007 or 2008 (or as far back as possible). Currently, my 120 minute charts only go back to around Dec 2011. Thank You, DS |

I'm looking at the CL futures. The current Futures contract is CLJ7 (but I can also load CL contracts going back to 2002 or so which would be CLJ2). |

The earliest available for Intraday data is CLG09.

If I set my chart to "Continuous Futures Contract - Volume Based Rollover" (in the chart settings), the chart will load prices going back ONLY to 2012. Please see attached for screenshots. If I try to load CLG09, it gives me an error "download failed". CLG3 does load data, BUT CLG2 does not. Is there something I can do to load/download more data? Thanks! |

This is true and the Message Log does indicate the reason. It is because Rithmic uses single-digit years in the futures contract symbols. Ah! That now makes sense. Which data sources use two-digit codes? Could I possibly just switch from Rithmic to say CQG (or another data source?) Thanks! |
