SC Historical data problem - continued

I am still having problems fetching historical data for daily stock charts. For example, a chart that had not been opened since last week will not fill in data for Mon and Tues of this week. Charts books sit there for 15-20 minutes with a message "waiting to download historical data" and nothing happens. Very frustrating. This all started this past weekend with no data avail at all on Sunday. Since Monday it has been intermittent. Some charts load, others languish. There is no problem loading intraday historical data at all. Please help. also see my previous post SC Historical data problem Sending my message log separately. This was followed by a line indicating the network socket connection had been closed.This must be caused by a firewall on your side. Or other connectivity problem. Problem has been resolved. Only after uninstalling AVAST antivirus did SC work normally. Thanks for your help! Cheers, Bill.
