How do I offset the Study "Current Price Line" by x ticks with a horizontal line? It does not have an option do so in Settings and the Study "Subgraph Add" only seems to works in a separate window (and is not a horizontal line).

Cheers

Attached is a study collection which is an example of what you want to do.

I found this study collection you created for another user when I was searching for something similar.

Thinking this would accomplish what I needed I tried it this morning and although the Study Subgraph Add does draw offset lines based on the Current Price Line study as you configured, the offset lines it creates don't shift up and down with the current price, they paint the prior price as the current price changes and quickly make a mess of the chart.

Is there a way to "bracket" an offset to the current price line study that moves up and down exactly like the current price line does without painting the line permanently on the chart? Ideally, including an Offset Input on the Current Price Line study would allow us to create brackets that move with current price if possible.

I've attached a chart to illustrate what happens when price begins to move with this current study collection.

Thanks much -- Scott

Thanks for addressing the study collection Engineering, I appreciate the quick response. However this introduced another issue. The trailing portion of the offset line now leaves a painted artifact on the charts as you can see in my included screenshot.

In addition, if there was a way to adjust the length of the Study Subgraph Add to be something less than the Current Price Line that would be PERFECT (although not necessary just a nicety).

Thanks again for all you assistance....Scott

We cannot provide further help. You need to do your own custom programming to accomplish what you want.

That’s odd that it didn’t reproduce. I doubt it was because I used dots instead of a solid line but I’ll try it again just out of curiosity now.

After your prior response of no further assistance, I ended up doing my own modification of the CPL study adding inputs allowing adjustable upper and lower offset lines and keeping it to one study instead of 3. Working great.

Thanks for taking another look at it regardless.
