Since updating to 1493, the message log and trade activity pop on start up.

This was not happening prior to the new versions.

Any way to get these to only show when there are error messages (there is no * on any entries in message log) and when the trade activity log is needed/manually called?

Updated to 1495 and the Message Log still pops on start up. Want to turn this off unless there's a legitimate error message.

Copied the log and ran a Find for "*" and there were none.

We do not observe this problem. Make sure the Message Log is closed at the time you exit from Sierra Chart otherwise it will open when started again.

Yes, familiar with the problem since it was a big issue a while back.

At any rate, it still pops on every start no matter what I try. Guess I'll just live with it.

There should not be a problem with this. We tested this again on another computer and did not observe a problem where it opens when Sierra Chart is started, and the Message Log was previously closed.

Thanks for taking another look at that.

After digging some more, looks like the problem is with a generic message from CQG:

CQG FIX Trading | CQG User message | Info: Data is available again. | Source: Web API Server | 2016-12-11 05:09:05 *

Have checked multiple times now and this is the message triggering the log on start up every time.

Any way to remove the asterisk from that?

We are moving that message to the Trade Service Log and removing the second instance of "CQG" from it but it will still need to open the log because sometimes there is important information the server is reporting.

It is not a message we normally hear that users are receiving though. Not sure why they are sending that.
