Does anyone know how to capture the Bar Close "Time" using ACSIL? Specifically for a chart that has the Bar Period Type set to "Number of trades per bar". It might be nice if the "BaseDateTimeIn" would also support OHLC timestamps for instance (I believe the time portion is the open as is). And a related question....tic charts seem to show time for bars based upon "open" when selected on the chart. Is there a way to have the time for the bars, when selected, show close time instead? The bar close time is not available ACSIL. We will see about adding that capability. We will make a note of it. All bar times in Sierra Chart are the starting time and that cannot change and will never change. But as we said, we will see about making the closing time available in ACSIL. Thanks for the consideration. I do see some uses for it. Best Regards

Followup: For my application I decided to use the "sc.GetEndingDateTimeForBarIndex()" to solve my problem and it worked fine, in Lieu of the bar close time implementation that I requested. I would recommend that anyone needing the "close time" use this since they "should" be the same. Therefore this request is a low priority I think or should be put on hold. |
