Can you check on how blank cells are treated in the spreadsheet for trading study as last night I had a number of orders trigger incorrectly when a simple IF statement compared a blank cell to the value 0 (zero); as a result the IF statement turned true and triggered orders to be sent to my broker. This has also happened before to me where blank cells seem to be treated as value 0 and turn IF statement into being true. I don't think this should be the intended behaviour? I have used work arounds too date but a fix would be good.

Yes a blank cell is going to be considered 0 and will always be that way. This will not change and would have a serious consequence if it is. You can use this function to determine if it is actually blank:
