I love SC and DTC! :) I have a main instance that has "Intraday Data Storage Time Unit" set to Tick, so I can use a Numbers Bars study. All of my other instances are set to 1 second, for much-faster chart loading. So on a second machine I want to connect to Sub-instance 2 of the first machine. I do so by setting the sub-instance 2 ports to 11097 and 11096 to avoid conflicts, and then I Enable DTC Protocol Server. This works great, but I must re-enable DTC Protocol Server every time I restart SC on the main machine. (BTW, sub-instance 2 is started using the main instance Global Settings + General Settings + Instances To Run On Startup. It's not a huge deal, but it would be very nice if the Enable DTC Protocol Server checkbox could persist even on a sub-instance. Cheers, Dale |

This is not supported. You should connect directly to the main instance on your first computer.
