Hello,
I just subscribed to TopstepTrader and I was trying to trade like I always do with Rithmic Data Feed on Sim mode.
With TST I need to connect to a new Data Feed and everything works great.

The problem I have is when I open two Instances like usually, I am not able to register the trades in TopstepTrader when I trade from the second Instance DOM.

I want to know if :

1- It is possible to trade with 2 instances and 2 DOM with TopstepTrader (combine where I can trade 3 lots maximum)
2- It is possible to register the cumulatives trades (trading evolution of the TopstepTrader account, trades) with the 2 instances and the 2 DOM (or only with the main Instance)

Cordially

Regards

Make sure Trade Simulation Mode is disabled:
Overview of Trading: Difference between Simulated and Non-Simulated Trading Modes

1. Yes. Proceed to do this and if you have a problem, let us know and let us know specifically what the issue is.

2. Yes through the Trade >> Trade Activity Log in the main instance.

I will explain you my problem:

I always trade from the Second Instance of Sierra (File, New Instance).
When I am in the Second Instance, I use the Second Instance DOM to make my trades (Not the Main Instance DOM)

Lets say I open the Two DOMs (Second Instance and Main Instance DOMs) and I put them one on top of the other, for example to make long trades in the Top Second Instance DOM, and short trades in the Bottom Main Instance DOM.

When I place a trade in the Second Instance Top DOM, I get the trade copied (appearing at the same time) in the Main Instance DOM at the bottom.
Like if the two DOMs, from Second Instance and Main Instance, were the same and only one, and that I could only trade the Symbol or long, or short.

I would like to be able to trade from the Second Instance DOM, and that the trade does not replicate in the Main Instance DOM.

Is it possible to do that ?
If yes, what Am I doing wrong ?

Thanks
Regards

No this is not possible.

Unless each Trade Window is set to a different account.

Is there a way to trade a long and a short Future Contract (the same product) at the same time, with only one account ?

Thanks

Not in Sierra Chart. You just need to have your broker assign another account or if you are in Trade Simulation Mode, just use one of the available simulation accounts.

Refer to:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM)

We will document all of this.
