Hello,

My 7 day intraday charts are loading Thursday through Wednesday, rather than Monday through Friday. How can I correct this please?

So you are saying the most recent date in the chart is Wednesday? Instead of the current day which should be Sunday or Monday?

Make sure the symbol of the chart is correct. Refer to help topic 1.3:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails1.php#h1.3

What is the exact symbol of the chart?

Refer to the section here about Weekly bars with Intraday Chart data:
Chart Settings: Days-Minutes-Seconds-Milliseconds Per Bar (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Intraday Chart Bar Period Settings menu)

I am using date range. However a Wednesday 4/20/16 is selected and when I change it to 4/18/16, a Monday, it reverts back to 4/20 when I hit apply and ok.

The only reason this could be the case is if Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2 >> Chart Linking >> Days to Load is being used. Are you using chart linking?

We think we know what the problem is. Help topic 18 is what is applicable here:
Unable to Change the Bar Time Period for Charts

However, you should receive a prompt when you change the Use Date Range >> From setting as is documented.

Well I've updated to the current version, I have nothing referenced and no studies on my 7-0-0 chart and I am using my pointer tool. Still I cannot change the date range.

This really makes no sense so we will have to test this. Provide the Chartbook by following these instructions:

In the Chartbook you provided we see no chart with a bar period of 7-0-0.

Also what is the exact Date Format you are using for the From date. Refer to the proper format here:

You do not see Chart #4, 7 Day, Intrady Chart with 7-0-0??? You did receive Share-Historical Charts?? The exact date format is 2016-04-20.

We see that chart but it is a Historical Weekly chart and not an Intraday chart. Also we think you are probably changing the wrong setting.

The only Date setting that you can change is Use Date Range >> From. Take note of the exact words that we stated.

I am confused. When I pull up chart settings,in Chart Data Type: Intraday Chart is selected. Intraday Chart Bar Period Type is Days-Mins-Sec Per Bar, 7-0-0 is selected. Why is this considered a historic chart? I used the Date Range Use Date Range---From: 2011-01-03 To: 2016-10-26. The chart is still not accurate. I am getting extremely frustrated as I am sure you are with my questions.

This is not what we see in the Chartbook you provided in chart #4. It is set to Historical Chart but that is not particularly relevant at the moment.

We have updated the documentation here which includes a screenshot showing the setting that can be changed:

If you need more help, we will need to look at this using Remote Assistance.

However, we just did a test now and set the Use Date Range >> From date to 2016-04-20. No problems as we would expect.
