I just redownloaded the data for ESZ09.scid and the prices are now all in the 9-11 range, i.e. they seem to have been divided by a factor of 1,000. What's going on?

I just checked three other futures markets for the same day Oct 9th 2009 and they are all missing data as well: E6Z09.scid (Euro) B6Z09.scid (British Pound) CLX09.scid (Crude Oil) Looks like there might be a systematic problem with that day no? |

Euro futures also missing intraday data for Thursday 31st Dec 2009 (E6H10.scid). Daily file shows that contract was trading that day.

Ok thank you. I see that you have fixed those 3 symbols (E6, B6, CL). But it seems that any other symbol I check whose history goes back that far is also missing 10/9/20009: A6Z09.scid (Aussie $) NGX09.scid (Nat Gas) ZNZ09.scid (10y Tsy) ZQZ09.scid (30d Fed Funds) It looks like there is some systematic error across all markets no? Also E6H10.scid is still missing 12/31/2009. |

The missing data has now been patched. Also, we cannot commit any further time to this. We could do a few other major contracts but we are surely not going to patch every contract. It is just too much work.

Ok thanks. I didn't expect you would have to patch them all by hand. Since it is the same day missing in all markets it seems likely there is a systematic error in the data source. I think having a clean data set with no holes is a prerequisite.

Just let us know what other futures contracts you need the missing data inserted for and we will do that. It was rather difficult doing this for ZQ because it is not a common market and historical files were not set up for that yet.
