Is there any way to download all US STOCK symbol data files in one time?

Hi, I day trade US stock. When I found some stocks I'm interested in, I input the Symbol to SC. And then it takes a long time to load if this symbol never load before. Is there any way to download all US STOCK symbol data files in one time? So I could keep datas new when the market close. I use SC data feed BTW. If this function had not been provided, could I just download intraday data only when I open a symbol I hadn't open before? Best Regards,TianYu |

For this you definitely need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed which you are currently using: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php What you can do is add the symbols that you want to maintain data for all the time, to the Intraday File Update List: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GlobalSettingsMenu.html#IntradayFileUpdateList You can also reduce the number of days of Intraday data downloaded: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DataSourceSettings.php#MaxHistoricalIntradayDaysToDownload If this function had not been provided, could I just download intraday data only when I open a symbol I hadn't open before? I set it up according to your advice, it works. "When opening an Intraday chart, only Intraday data is download. So we do not understand why you ask the question." I think it's because I have a multi day 5 Minute chart on my chart book and it link to my intraday chart too. So, when I change my intraday chart Symbol, that multi day 5 Minute chart will begin downloading other days data. As soon as I reduce the data as your suggest above, it's more quicker now. Thanks for help. |
