Received the above error, did not affect my trading. Curious what this error is related to.

We think we know what the cause of this is. Just give us about an hour to look into this and we will respond in this thread with more information.

This problem is *not* related to any changes Sierra Chart has made and released. The conclusion at this point, is that when an IB execution message is received which indicates an order fill, the Total Filled Quantity field is zero which leads to the following issues:

- An overfill error occurs.
- The fill is not logged. This also affects any profit/loss calculations which depend on this.
- The internal position quantity is not immediately updated and will be updated eight seconds later.

I have the same 'overfill' issue with FXCM (see attached) ... so what would cause this, now that this is occurring with 'two' separate brokers?

We have looked into this and implemented a patch for it. Follow the instructions here to update to the latest prerelease:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

Sierra Chart does safely handle the overfill without any consequence.

Let us know if the problem is resolved after the update.

That patch did fix it, (no more 'overfill' pop-up messages). Thank You for your prompt attendance!
