I updated to version 1468 per the other OEC post since my data also was not updating. Now the data seems to have updated, but all my RangeBar charts are constantly flashing. All symbols except ESZ6. The other symbols are NQZ6, 6AZ6, 6BZ6, 6EZ6, ZNZ6, ZFZ6, ZBZ6, GCLX6 and QMX6.

We tested the Chartbook and we do not see any continuous reloading. We think this is due to a custom study you are using which we see there are several of.

Why exactly that is occurring we do not know.

Remove the custom studies one by one and see which one when removed, stops the reloading.

I seems to be a combination of the BAV Summation Difference and the ColoredCCI study (which I paid for you to create for me). Deleting either separately still produces the issue. Only when both are deleted does the "blinking" stop. However, both of those exist in the ESZ6 chart and it does NOT "blink".

Do you have the source code for those studies? If so, compile them again following the instructions here:

I recompiled the ColoredCCI file. The BAV Summation is a custom study that is part of the Sierra Chart package. I don't have the source BAVSummation._scsf_summdiff. Recompiling the ColoredCCI had not effect - still "blinking"

Just FYI, I made another attempt with new compiled ColoredCCI. It seems to be the BAVSummation._scsf_summdiff. With the recompiled ColoredCCI and remove the BAVSummation - the blinking (i.e., constant reloading of the chart containing that study) stops.

We have looked this over and we do not see any problem in the Sierra Chart code which would cause this. We will rebuild the User Contributed Studies file.

We realize this is not true:
The BAV Summation is a custom study that is part of the Sierra Chart package. I don't have the source BAVSummation._scsf_summdiff.

This is definitely not provided with Sierra Chart.

It must be corrupting the sc data structure.

OK, after rebuild and will I need to redownload ver1468 or a newer version or will you just supply the rebuilt User Contributed Studies file?

Poor word choice on my part. What I meant was the BAV studies are part of the Custom Studys. I do not recall ever adding that separately - i.e., I believe it was installed the first time I installed SC package several years ago.

We definitely cannot help you with BAVSummation._scsf_summdiff.

Go to the Sierra Chart Data folder and delete the file BAVSummation.dll.

What does the study do? It seems like something Sierra Chart already has or could be easily created.

Cumulative, i.e., summation difference of bid volume and ask volume. I can probably accomplish same thing using a summation study of bid ask with input being difference vs. using this custom study.
