YMZ6/YMZ16 But frankly, logging in and completing the initial historical and real-time updating for a workbook is iffy takes a long time, and doesn't complete as in SC basically freezes. That is the case at this moment with a fresh restart. My workbook contains 4 OEC symbols, but with several time frames for each. HTH Thanks |

The symbols need to use two digit years. So the proper symbol in this case is YMZ16. None of the symbols should have a single digit year in them. Because the symbols now use two digit years, the historical data has to be downloaded for them. If the charts are set to load a large number of days, and your computer is not powerful enough, then this is the reason for the freezing. We would not normally expect that though. Would be best to open one chart at a time and reduce the number of days loaded in the chart. Excuse for including the old and new symbol. It shows on the chart as YMZ16. Bottomline, your suggestion is not something that I am willing to go through (rebuilding the workbook) during market hours. This symbol change has clearly not gone smoothly, and I am more inclined to wait for updates since everything worked fine prior. |

Give us about another 20 minutes, to release a new version which will support single-digit years which will work around the issue. We do believe the problem in your case is you have complex charts and the computer is not powerful enough to easily handle a large amount of data downloading and probably the charts are downloading tick by tick data.
