I use Interactive Brokers with Sierra Charts. The Problem is the Open PNL on Sierra Chart STOCK SYMBOLS- PNL are identical (Works fine). OPTION SYMBOLS- PNL is way Off on SC. Seems Delayed. IB includes commissions in PNL. This isn't the issue because it works fine with SC Stock Symbols, without adding commissions in SC software. See Link. Why is it off? The issue is going to be because of the Position Average Price is not what is expected or the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2 >> Currency Value per Tick setting is not correct. Or for both of these reasons. We also noticed that you are trading 100 contracts of that option. Is that what you intend to do?

I'm on a paper account so 100 contracts is OK. I tried 5,10,50,100 contracts, price is always off. The Currency Value Tick is set to 1 which is correct. The problem is not updating in real time. There's so much lag on SC compared to IB PNL. This is only with OPTIONS SYMBOL, Not Stock Symbols. |

OK now we understand what the problem is because this is not an actively traded symbol. Enable this option: Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Use Bid/Ask for Open Profit/Loss Calculations. I tried that before also. NO Luck. I just tried your suggestion again. Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Use Bid/Ask for Open Profit/Loss Calculations. SEE Link. SAME CHARTS. STILL OFF. What is the chart Tick Size set to?

We figured this out. The profit/loss is correct and is based upon the ask price of .25 which is being provided by Interactive Brokers. If that ask price is not correct we *cannot* help but that. Yes we were able to figure it out and determine that the Profit/Loss is correct based upon the .25 ask price.
