Jigsaw Trading Rapid Trader Pro with Sierra Chart Real-Time data

Hello, My question is would it be possible to use Sierra Chart with its built in Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed as a first connection charting software and use the new Jigsaw Rapid Trader Pro, which is now a standalone execution software with the same Sierra Chart Real-Time and Historical Exchange Data Feed as an additional connection, with the extra fee added of course? In other words is the Sierra feed exclusive only to Sierra Charts? Thanks. |

It can only use the data feed if it uses the DTC Server in Sierra Chart: Data and Trading Communications (DTC) Protocol Server It will not be able to connect to it any other way. Hello, I'd just like to add that I have contacted Jigsaw and was told Sierra Chart integration is a definite possibility. Additional feeds will be done in order of demand and they still require more people requesting Sierra Chart for them to move forward... They (Jigsaw team) told me the same 'Sierra Chart integration is a definite possibility' 3 years ago as well. So, good luck, and don't expect too much if they are not planning to go with DTC protocol. |

Whilst Jigsaw/RapidPro are excellent tools it's not cheap to get their licence for live trading. What's your issue with not using Sierra for execution User 832792 ? |

The more Sierra users who speak up and send a request to Dave to get RapidTrader DTC support. The more likely it will be done. Just sent my email lending support to Dave today. |

kamicrazy, Whilst I think Sierra is absolutely fine for trade executions, especially since they are using the latest Rithmic API, I agree it would be to our advantage if RapidTrader offered DTC support so I'll write to them |
