New bars forming at a TIME LAG

I use CQG and I have brought this in the past. I see new time bars start at a lag of about 4-7 seconds. This is even after setting my chart update interval at 700 milliseconds in the global settings. Please advise. |

Regarding post #1, we are not sure how you are coming to this conclusion but it may have been related to the historical data and this has been fixed for CQG. If you see the 5min and 1min chart next to each other - you will see the new bar in both of them only form at the 13th second of the new minute. not real time.

Also, now I have a reverse problem where the new bar is forming as the new minute bar, called as such as a new minute bar, about 25 seconds sooner. What do I do now? |

You just need to make sure that Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Timestamp Using Local Computer Clock is set to False. Then you will know the time stamping is correct for the chart bars. Countdown timer only counts down when trades are coming in.

It will also count down in real-time depending upon if the corresponding study Input for that is set to Yes.
