I am running Sierra charts with a data feed from Gain. I am using FP trader due to the fact that I'm also running Jigsaw. I've been having data feed problems for quite some time now. If I have my machine off for any reason when I go back into the platform there is a gap in data. I cannot get the gap filled. I'm also having an issue where there is a constant freezing of data on multiple charts for my intraday data. Who should I be talking to in regard to this problem? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Tell us the symbol of one of the charts you have a problem with. We only need to know one of the symbols.

And refer to the instructions here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/HistoricalIntradayData.html#RetryDownloadDataInChart

For the real-time chart updating problem, refer to:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GAINCapitalOECTrader.php#SymbolLimit

The symbol for oil with Gain is GCLX6.

I have tried to apply the information from the first set of instructions in the past without any success. I had not seen the second set of instructions prior to this but have been running more than 5 symbols the entire time that I've been getting data from Gain. I had no problem until relatively recently....last month or 6 weeks I'm guessing.

one other poin that may be of importance.....When I try to do an update I keep getting #1307 as the build. It never changes.

when I try to update it goes along as if the update has occurred but still says 1307 in the upper left hand corner

Go to the GCLX6 chart and right-click somewhere on the chart and select Delete and Download Data.

Provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog

The reason you may be on version 1307 is because you have a need for Old Spreadsheets. Is this the case?

No, I've never used spreadsheets before. It is possible that at some point I selected that version not really knowing which version I needed. I have tried the delete and download data route before without any success but will give it another go.

Ok, that did solve the version problem. I guess I'd been clicking on the old spreadsheet version. Now that I'm on the current version maybe delete and download will work. Will let you know.

Ok.....steps 4 through 7 resolved that problem....the only issue I have left is the random freezing of my intraday charts......it's been terrible today. Up until very recently I never experienced this problem.
