1. For CME data, the provider is the CME itself. For EUREX data the provider is Barchart which obtains the data from CQG. 2. Use DS1.SierraCharts.com. You can check both latency and location with this server. Also the location is explained here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#Included Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you for answers. I am currently located in EU. 1. Is it possible to setup that I get the SierraChart EUREX data feed from CQG EU server that should have lower latency ? 2. When my ping to the data feed server is X (100ms) then chart update interval should be = or > X (>100ms) ? 3. What is the best way to check my latency with running studies ? Thanks for your help. |

1. No, this is not possible at all. 2. You can set the Chart Update Interval to whatever you want: General Settings Window: Chart Update Interval (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Update Intervals) 3. We do not know. We are not sure exactly what you are trying to check. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thanks for answers. I want to see the difference between my pc clock and time of data on my charts. 1. How I can check/see if my data is falling behind ? Is there any command ? 2. What is the min / the best chart update interval when my ping to data feed is 100 ms ? Is 101 ms okay or should I add any extra time for any kind of calculation or due to any delays ? Thanks. 1. There is no command in Sierra Chart for this. 2. If you really want to have very responsive and low latency charts, probably use 100 milliseconds or 50 milliseconds. We would recommend only using this on some charts though: Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
