Hi, Why is there an overlap in bars when I plot this Renko chart ? I've never had this before and I've not changed any settings etc.

This is because you have Chart >> Chart Settings >> New Bar at Session Start enabled. This is documented in the Introduction section here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/RenkoCharts.html#UsingRenko Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. That setting is unchecked. I have only "Fill Session Gap" and "New Bar When Exceeded" checked

So you are using Flex Renko? That is the reason for the problem! Understand what you are using: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/RenkoCharts.html Do not use Flex Renko if you do not want to see what you do! Otherwise, you are getting exactly what you have configured the chart for. It you do not want an overlap, it is totally pointless to be using Flex Renko. If you still see the problem, this may be because there is 1 Minute data in the chart and this is a consequence of using IQ Feed and one reason we do not recommend it.
