sorting of export data

Hi, I want to export all real-time data in the chart, so I add a spreadsheet study

Real-time data shown in descending order, but I want it shown in ascending order.
Tried the "sort" function in spreadsheet, old data is in ascending order now (but real-time data will keep showing on the first row and back to descending)

Would like to know the method that can export all real-time data in the chart and shown in ascending order. (tick by tick)

Hi, tried "Edit >> Export Bar Data to Text File & Export Bar Data and Study Data to Text File", the data output is updated as the time I exported. Is there any method that data keep updating.

Hi, thanks for your update, just tried the latest release, keeping .txt open, but the data won't update automatically after 5-min, I have to exit and open again to view the latest data, is it the expected outcome ? thanks

What is the name of the study you are using?

This should work properly. We verified that previously.

And what is the text editor you are using? You should use a text editor like Notepad ++ and use the File >> Reload command to reload the data from the text file.

I use notepad++ and it refreshed every 5-min, thanks

I have 3 studies in the chart, RSI, MACD & OBV, .txt file shows data 3 studies in separate rows, can it show in same line, just like the way shown in spreadsheet, thanks

The chart bar and study data for each column in the chart is outputted to a single line. This has been verified:

Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Last, Volume, # of Trades, OHLC Avg, HLC Avg, HL Avg, Bid Vol, Ask Vol, RSI, Line1, Line2, RSI Avg, MACD, MA of MACD, MACD Diff, Line, OBV
2016/8/15, 16:25:00.0, 2186.00, 2186.50, 2186.00, 2186.25, 2239, 373, 2186.19, 2186.25, 2186.25, 1124, 1115, 0.00, 70.00, 30.00, 0.00, 0.000, 0.000, 0.000, 0.000, 0

It is not even technically possible for the studies to be on separate rows.

Resolved, sorry that I am still using "Write Bar Data to File"

Last question, for the 1st set of data (price graph, it output Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Last, Volume, # of Trades, OHLC Avg, HLC Avg, HL Avg, Bid Vol, Ask Vol), is it possible to eliminate the data feed that I won't use? Thanks

No this is not within our control. This is only something done by the text editor.

You could look at using "Auto Hotkey" to automate this. Just run an Internet search for that program.
