Is there an alert that only triggers when a rectangle has been completely crossed by price? I would think that (when price is coming down and meets a rectangle) if I select Below in comparison, it should only trigger when price moves to one tick below the rectangle. However, this does not seem to be the case; SC treats it as a line and triggers on contact. Is this possible? I have also tried full bar and crossing.

Edit: Also, can you please make it that the list in "Tool config for Appearance when true" shows the aliases we use for the configurations and not just numbers? This would be very helpful.

You really need to set up a separate single Line and set an Alert on that.

We will see about this.

Regarding the Tool config for appearance: I save it so it changes every time a drawing of that configuration is hit, but it doesn't get saved. When it is used again it reverts to None. What is the point?

You can only change this through Global Settings >> Tool Configs >> [Tool] >> A.

The documentation should already explain this.
