My present software has an option for a mini horizontal scroll bar that is about 10% of the width of a standard scroll bar. this saves lots of real estate. In sc I see an option to turn off scroll bar. Is there an option for mini or a workaround that is space efficient? If not, can it be easily added in your next rev?

This is not supported and it is impossible for us to add this. What you can do though is change the scrollbar width through your Display settings in the Windows Control Panel.
