I am with Mirrus Futures and have been using the Cumulative Delta Bars-Volume indicator for the past few months with no problems. Since I downloaded version 992 (as I was told was required to use Rhythmic) I have a gap in data of the Cumulative Delta Bars-Volume indicator during the time that my computer is turned off or disconnected from the server.

Please stay connected as much as possible to the data feed. With Zen-Fire/Rithmic, there is not historical Bid Volume or Ask Volume available, so during the time you are not connected, Cumulative Delta Bars-Volume will be zero or stay the same. Previously, the historical Bid Volume and Ask Volume were being estimated but they were not very accurate. Support for this estimated data has been removed. Is there a data provider that provides historical bid/ask volume?

Yes. Have a look at this page: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/Rithmic.php CTS T4 is another good trading platform service for this. See: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/CTS_T4.php If you are trading the CME markets, we are also intending to provide our on quality CME data feed which will work across all trading/broker services. And you can also use DTN IQ Feed. See: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/DTNIQFeed.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I'm having a problem with this same study using BarChart's realtime feed on stocks. It doesn't reset to zero at the start of the day. Is there a known problem with the way SC interprets Barcharts volume data field? |

Now that Sierra Charts and Zen Fire are no longer compatible, I am looking at Global Futures using the OEC data service. Will this give me a continuous Cumulative Delta chart even if I am not connected at all times? (see my original question that started this thread above.)

Yes. With OEC, there is historical bid volume and ask volume available. And if you are looking for the very best data feed, you can use the Sierra Chart one: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
